Architect Shafique Rahman attended a seminar “Sustainable Design: from Theory to Practice” as a speaker.

During 10 years of instance associated with the study, research, and practice of architecture, Shafique Rahman has designed and been involved with a number of remarkable projects in Bangladesh and Australia. He worked with international practice Crawford Architects in Sydney for a year, where he led the Design of the Extension of Sydney Domestic Airport and a number of Housing Projects. He participated in national and international competitions. He received Academic Design Award in 2009, got special mentions in the "Dwelling Unit 2062" and "IATA 2013". The presentation - N Sustainable Design- From Theory to Practice, exhibits a few selected works from his Masters Studio and Competition Projects, where a CE spectrum of sustainable design strategies was adopted from theory and research.
